Whats the best way to travel Europe on a budget?

Some friends and I are going backpacking through Europe and are trying find the best way to get around. What’s the best International Travel Insurance for an 18yo?

I’m traveling to Europe from Australia in July 2011 for 5 months with a friend of mine. We’re both 18 and are a bit unsure of what travel insurance to get. Our travel agent suggested covermore, however, i read some reviews which where anything but positive! I’ve heard that medibank private and QBE have quite good insurance… but I’m still not sure. Any advice would be fantastic.

What’s the best USA holiday?

For my 21st next year I’m going on holiday to America with my mum, 2 wks max. We’re looking to definately fit a few days visit to New York in also want to visit other places. What’s the cheapest way to travel to Europe from the US?

A friend and I are traveling to Europe next summer and I’m trying to get a feel for how much the tickets will cost. We aren’t looking for a specific destination, as we will be traveling. Does anyone have any reccomendations for cheapest way to get from here to there?
