Im an african-british male, 17, i want to try and travel to Darfur this summer and help people.

anyone know a way i can go? or a group i can go with from the UK?

i dont want anything religious eg. Muslim Brothers or Christian Brothers as i dont think religion has anything to do with these things and that religion will only cause more complex problems.
so any ideas please?

Im planning a Carribean holiday for 2009 for myself, partner and 2 children who will be ages 8yrs and 5yrs by that time.

I would like advice on where to go, theres so much choice, so has anyone been somewhere they would reccomend ??? There would need to be some form of entertainment for the kids, but i would just like a holiday where i could chill for 2 weeks.

I know it would be easy to go into the travel agents and ask there advice but sometime they can be a little misleading. (No offence intended)

I am an Australian in Canada and my travel insurance ran out 7 days ago. My insurer will not extend my policy as it has been more than 48hrs since it lapsed, and they won’t issue a new policy because I have already left the country. Does anyone know of an insurance company that will offer cover after you have already left home?

Hi all, I’m coming in holiday to USA (LA+NY) from 10th Jan to 25 Jan and I need some tips.
First of all I would need a prepaid usim for my HTC desire as I will need internet. Which mobile operator should I go for?

I need something cheap that offers affordable data plans, I’m not interested at all in phone calls as I won’t call anybody except taxi.
And I’m staying in brooklyn in New York (near sunset park), how is the place? Safe? Is there much nightlife I can enjoy?

As for LA I will stay in west hollywood, same question as above applies here.
If you have additional tips or information you would add I will appreciate that.

I want to travel with 2 different airlines from the UK to a destination in Europe. Can I purchase travel insurance which will cover me in the small print for using 2 different airlines on both legs. A lot I have found will only cover me for the first leg.
