My wife and I are going to Europe in the summer. She has an E-Passport, but I have one of the older style United States passports. Do I need an E-Passport (biometric passport) to travel to Europe, or will my non-biometric passport suffice?

I am a 26 year-old female who will be traveling solo so I am looking for a good tour group. I haven’t read good things about Contiki so I’m looking for alternatives. I don’t mind spending the extra money to go with a good, reputable company. I am looking to go to Egypt in the fall. Thanks!

Hi, I am a 28 year old female who is in desperate need for a vacation. I have never been to Europe, and would like to see France. I am thinking of going this summer. What’s the best most cost effective way? Hire a travel agent, or book online through Contiki Tours? Need your help!!!

I’ve heard of a few people I went to high school with traveling around Europe and going to a different place every few days but how do they do it?!

I’m planning to do this next year.
My friend went through Contiki but she said that it was somewhat rushed and more like a “party-bus”.
I’m more of a sight-seeing type person and I’d like to take in the culture and history of places, as opposed to “drinking them dry” LoL
Some facts: I’m Canadian, female, and will be 25 years old, possibly travelling solo.

I mean I am not criticizing anyone but how come Americans just don’t know how to play it cool when they go travelling to Europe?

I have a Eurail pass. I will be staying in the cheapest accomodation possible and avoiding expensive food etc. I also need to purchase a ticket for the Chunnel when i get there. I know it is dependent on where I go, so any suggestions for cheap travel destinations in Europe would be appreciated too

I am wondering if purchasing medical insurance is worth the additional cost. I will be 28 at the time I go and am a very healthy person in general. Anybody have an opinion or can share their secrets?

Some friends and I are going backpacking through Europe and are trying find the best way to get around. We are 18,so we are on a budget and we need to find the best and cheapest way to get around from Paris,Berlin,Rome,Athens,London,Amsterdam,and Dublin (not in that order but these places). PLEASE HELP
