I am a 26 year-old female who will be traveling solo so I am looking for a good tour group. I haven’t read good things about Contiki so I’m looking for alternatives. I don’t mind spending the extra money to go with a good, reputable company. I am looking to go to Egypt in the fall. Thanks!

im not really looking for the type of holiday where you sit by the pool and read a book, im thinking more along the lines of a tourist holiday, sight seeing. can anyone thing of any amazing places that will take your breath away, for example Australia red rock, the eiffel tower and the statue of liberty. or any other holidays, such as a Safari holiday etc.

I am from Canada and i was thinking of trying to plan a 4-8 week trip to Europe to see many places such as Italy, Ireland, Scotland, Spain, France, and Holland. I was hoping to do it in Jan or Feb and i was wondering what the weather is like in those places? is it too cold and snowing/raining that it would make it a bad time to travel and see all the great things they have to offer?

I’m traveling to Europe from Australia in July 2011 for 5 months with a friend of mine. We’re both 18 and are a bit unsure of what travel insurance to get. Our travel agent suggested covermore, however, i read some reviews which where anything but positive! I’ve heard that medibank private and QBE have quite good insurance… but I’m still not sure. Any advice would be fantastic.
