Anyone know of good deals, good websites, or good travel agents for vacations to South America? My family and I are looking to go. My eldest brother and I are both adults, my youngest brothers are 3, 11, and 15, step mom is 33 and dad is 42. We are looking for the best deal and can go anytime! We are open to suggestions for destinations and even combos of destinations– depending on the best deal. Any travel agent I’ve called seems unable to comprehend that we are so flexible– they won’t help us without specific dates and locations. Which seems ridiculous because if I do all that planning I might as well book the vacation myself.

what websites are best for finding cheap flights for travel in central america? ie from Guatemala to surrounding countries, or the carribean, the US, or south america?

I am surprised at how much flights cost, and wonder if there are some websites with special deals or airline email specials available.

My husband and I are thinking of traveling a bit in south america, brazil, bolivia and others. He told me perhaps he should dye his hair since it’s not so usual being as colorless like him (hair, skin and eyes). We live in europe now and frankly t’s not particularly all that popular over here either. But I asked him, what if we relocate are you going to dye your hair?

I have been running a home based online travel business, specializing in trips to South America for about 3 years now. I am still trying to find out the best way to spend the money I set aside for marketing/advertising. I found out that trade shows are too expensive and do not produce results I’d hoped for. Is it worthwile hiring a PR/Marketing consultant?

…and then traveled to South America to put the sloth there, and then traveled to africa to put the springbok there etc. How long did that take for him to travel all around the world with only his family to ‘row his massive boat’ and what did they eat on their journey?
If god can use magic to bring all the animals to the ark and get them back to their habitat, then why even flood the world, why not just make all the evil beings die ‘magically’?

I am thinking about travelling to Brazil next year summer by doing volunteering work with (I to I organisation) or any other travel abroad organisation. But since I don’t know much information about the country, I wanted some useful information. I think I am mostly like to travel on my own and I would explore the country on my own. This would be the first time I am travelling on my own. I might choose to volunteer in a community work, or teach English but I am thinking about doing volunteering work in Rio De Janeiro.
I also wanted some advice if it is safe travelling to the Amazon River and taking a tour there but I am not sure if I will have the time. Plus is there any good place that I should visit.

me and my husband are planning a trip to centrl and south america for may be about 3 months. we would like to start with a spanish course in edquador. and would like to see the amazon forest, the salt plain in bolivia and the islands of argentina. and of course machu puchi!!

what is the best time of the year for this kind of travel? sept to dec? it is mostly out door activties that we would like to do, so need to take weather for consideration. pls advice!
