How on earth do I use a tampon?!?

Okay I’m freaking out because in 2 weeks i’m going on a holiday to Thailand/Malaysia, and I’ve pretty much worked out for some of the time I’m in Thailand I will have my period, but problem is I don’t know how to use a tampon!! I’m freaking because I don’t want to sit on the beach all day and not go in the pool. Little help?
